msnbc: Joe Scarborough having a fit.
"I don't care who gets mad at me, The Administration, the network, etc."

"People still don't have food and water. (I think he's talking about the Florida Panhandle, - where he's from, Mississippi) and other areas. I'm hearing from my friends and everyone else there." People's representatives need to start saying something."

My comment:
When you think about it - if you are in the affected areas and your representatives don't complain about this and fight for you - they are pretty much criminally negligent. Enough is enough - they have got to stop covering for this guy. I live in Florida and this is serious - we cannot have this incompetence around.

Politics aside: This guy (Bush) is seriously endangering this country - he is absolutely incompetent. We've seen it with 9/11, then Iraq, Afghanistan, he's stirred up everything in the Middle East, ruined our relations with the rest of the world, and now we see he can't handle a national emergency. This goes way over and beyond politics. I don't care if he's a Republican OR a Democrat.

7. Before, I just hated Bush and that was a lot of it.....
but now I'm looking at it from a more detached viewpoint. If a Democrat were in office I would be totally po'd. At this point - I seriously think if Clinton were in office and screwing up this bad - I'd be calling for his impeachment. THAT'S how screwed up things are with this administration.

I just don't get how these people who are constantly excuzing Bush can just be so dense. As a person who was at one point a Republican - I just don't get how people can be soooo set in their ways that they can't be open enough to change their minds.

5. I'm watching him
and he's outraged, and making no excuses for this administration ~ His reporter showed video of 15 bodies that her crew found in a church and he and she both said, this is what they fear will be found in all those buildings.

He says help is still not getting to people ~ he's really, really upset. Acting like a human being, not a partisan hack.

8. "...asking where the president they voted for has been for the past week."
Thursday, Sept. 1 in Biloxi...

SCARBOROUGH (voice-over): My wife, Susan, was so distressed by what she saw that she and her friends launched a fund-raising drive through a local charity. By the time we arrived in Biloxi, we were besieged by residents, who told us four days later that we were some of the first relief workers they had seen.

That had many of my wife's Republican friends asking where the president they voted for has been for the past week.

<snip>

SCARBOROUGH: The most powerful country on Earth, and yet, again, I have been here for three days now. You have, too. I wrote it down. Today, at 5:11 p.m., was the first time I saw a National Guardsman out on the street. What is going on here?

9. Even Trent Lott is complaining aboiut the lack of help now.....
Why some of these people are still connecting themselves to that loser (Bush) and excusing him I can't figure out. I guess it's just out of habit or something.
