Rumor in DC that Brown was the one who blacked out Bush's. . .
National Guard Records.

My neighbor's college friend is a non-profit manager in Wahington, and says there is a rumor circulating DC that FEMA undersecretary Brown was the one who blacked out several of the fields in Bush's national Guard record. This is just a rumor, and I have nothing more. Any ideas as to how one can investigate this rumor?

1. I thought Allbaugh's the one who had something to do with that...
... Joe Allbaugh, his 2000 campaign manager, college roommate to "Brownie," and subsequent FEMA head.

He's the guy who rescued "Brownie" from horse shows and brought him into FEMA.

I'm sure intrepid DUers will correct me and fill in the blanks!

2. I believe you are correct, it was Allbaugh who vacuumed Dimson's files.
AWOL/drunk driving/coke busts. To think that he'd have never run for office he people knew his real public record. Talk about enabling a disaster...

6. Allbaugh is out of government now... sort of...
... when he knew the war was coming, he resigned from FEMA to start his own consulting company for the purpose of helping blind contractor pigs find Iraq reconstruction acorns....

7. I think I heard on CNN that Allbaugh resigned from
FEMA and took a consulting position with firm that secures contracts for US companies for US taxpayer-funded work in Iraq.

The looting just keeps on going!
