When they say "blame game" we say COVER-UP
They are engaging in a cover-up and want to sweep their actions under the carpet. And we're not going for it. Investigate now.

21. This IS the time for blaming,
before another disaster hits, we need to sweep these idiots from power so we can prepare for and respond to the disaster. Blame yes, game no. Sometimes it is proper to blame, and this is one of those times.

3. A cover-up
and a continued failure to lead on purpose.

I sick and tired of allowing bullies to run our country.

5. That's EXACTLY RIGHT!!
Man Scott McClellan turned awfully green when a reporter asked for a time line of responses. He's like ahem, ahem...they'll be time for that later.

Um, NO....now. HOW HARD IS IT? DON'T THEY DOCUMENT THIS SHIT?? Have the secretary photocopy it & send it to the news. WHAT exactly did Bush order and how did he follow up?

17. Hillary said that also when promoting an Independent Commission.
When the reporter asked her about how the Republicans are saying people want to play the blame game.

She said this isn't a game. The Government is accountable to the people and "some people" seem to have forgotten that. The people of NO and the entire Country want answers.

If you haven't called your Senators and Congressperson demanding an Independent Investigation, please do so today. We can't trust any investigations by the WH or Congress.

press to not use that word at all.

18. Heard "now is not the time for the blame game" at a dinner last night.
It made me realize that the coordination of talking points must be very specific, i.e., down to the exact wording.

My figuring is that they want as many people as possible saying the same sentence or phrase so that it becomes "conventional wisdom."

16. Yes and if they get away with the Blame Game meme, it becomes their issue
They will own it, and we cannot allow that to happen. The people of NOLA will never get justice, much less all the material and emotional support they will need over the next few years.

Blame Game = Puke Cover-up
Blame Game = Puke Guilt
Blame Game = Puke Lack of Responsibility

24. Exactly.
I decided, after reading posts here this morning, that when I hear "the blame game", my response will be "No, it's called accountability and it's not a game -- people have died."

We need to get that out there. Make Rove's pathetic and unfeeling spin a liability for them.
