Listening to Gergen on CNN - Why do people assume that

Bush can empathize? Why do they speak of him as if the president has no brain of his own, but it is all up to his handlers. They are saying the right things - it IS an absence of leadership - but WHY DOESN'T Bush GET BLAMED? This is completely insane!

Also, they showed a wacky CNN Gallup poll where most Americans, by a landslide, do not think anyone at the Federal Level should lose their job, and few blame Bush.
