I did. I have been uneasy since Bush started to show his true colors. Since he started to put his own people in everywhere. Since all he cared about was corporate greed and wealth.

Just a gut feeling that something big was coming. Maybe its just experience. Everytime an adm. is Republican and full of cronies something awful happens.

Its like the chickens have just been waiting to come home to roost.

2. Yes, it's been sort of like watching a trainwreck and not being able...

to do a darn thing about it.

Sadly I'm not as sure the "chickens" will STAY "roosted" with the spin machine going at full tilt, the Reps in power and ballots still not set up to make sure all votes are counted. I hope though... and I believe in my heart that, although it may take a long time, pay back's going bite them all on the backside HARD.

3. This Is The Village Burning...

In my anger last fall over the election, I reemed out a former Repugnican business associate (I stopped doing business with him...and it's good, he's on the verge of bankruptcy) for how his vote was enabling the destruction of this country's military, social and economic structure. He said "you're overblowing it a bit". I don't think he's thinking that right now...facing his own economic troubles; rising expenses and an economy heading downward and going further south.

The problem I see developing is the zeal people have to tatoo this travesty on meeester booosh, we're giving other Repugnicans cover...and these people, not meeester boosh, are the ones needed to be held accountable. The disgust with the war, this disaster, the high gas prices, lack of health care and so on must be labeled on every Repugnican from Senator and Congressman to dog catcher and paid political hack.

Our frustration and anger is so widespread it appears "the opposition" bitches about everything, that gives the Repugnicans cover in there meme that "we're making things partisan". When Democrats hear that they become bambi in the headlights and the progress we've made in controlling the debate and the story is lost. We need to focus on one or two major issues and stay on message (just like Repugnicans)...then once we have the full credibility on those issues to really make them stick to anything with an (R) associated with it.

As I say to those who voted for meeester booosh and is now bitching..."you brought this upon yourself".

4. Last month, many here had premonitions of disaster.

I remember reading several threads about feelings of foreboding and something happening in September. It is odd. I don't really believe in precognition, but it makes you wonder.
