2. If not now when?
The time to point fingers is now before any more lives are endangered or more suffering take place.
The Bu$h Administration keeps telling everyone that now is not the time to point fingers yet each day there are more stories of human suffering caused by the incompetence of the Federal Government or one of its agencies.
If we wait one more day to find out where the system is failing us, we are putting more Americans at risk of falling victim to the failure of the US Government.
I say it time for George W. Bu$h to stop covering his ass and come clean with the American people and accept the fact that he is a failure as President.

If not NOW, When George? When will you come clean?

4. The same pattern over and over.
They let their pundits play the blame game as they say it is not the time to play the blame game. TALKING POINTS ARE A BLAME GAME!! They say this wonderful line too : "The Democrats are just hurting themselves." It's time we ignore that misleading bull**** and fight hard for what's right!

5. If dem were sitting in there
you can bet the blame would be sitting at this feet. Fingers would be dead set on one person.

I don't think the republicans can handle it when people embrace the truth and call them on it. They good are blaming others but shitty at taking ANY responsibility! They are more like freaking spoiled children then a legit party.

8. if a dem were sitting in there, Articles of Impeachment would already . .
have been filed, demands for his resignation would be flooding the media, and there would be rallies in every major city hanging him in effigy . . .

6. blame has nothing to do with it . . . it's accountability . . .
holding our elected officials -- in this case, the president -- responsible for doing their jobs . . .

not only did Bush not do his job, he also exacerbated the disaster through a seemingly very deliberate strategy of corrupt indifference . . . the people impacted by the disaster -- overwhelmingly poor, black, and Democratic -- are simply not important enough to him to matter . . .

that no one in our party is calling for his resignation and/or impeachment is unconscionable . . . leadership and courage have given way to a cover your ass mentality that demonstrates vividly -- to us, and to the rest of the world -- precisely how impotent our government is . . . at all levels . . .

12. Other hurricanes for this season won't "wait until later" !
... and we shouldn't wait either for them to come down on us before *correcting* these problems and getting rid of the cancer that plagues our government now! The sooner we speak up and get a handle of what to do to *correct* this government, the better. Those affected by other hurricanes in the coming months will thank us for doing so later, not to mention all of the troops and national guard in Iraq who want to come home too!
