FEMA Chief Waited Until After Storm Hit to Ask for Help
By TED BRIDIS, AP
<snip>
Michael Brown's memo proposed sending 1,000 Homeland Security employees within 48 hours and 2,000 within seven days.

WASHINGTON (Sept. 7) - The government's disaster chief waited until hours after Hurricane Katrina had already struck the Gulf Coast before asking his boss to dispatch 1,000 Homeland Security workers to support rescuers in the region - and gave them two days to arrive, according to internal documents.

25. LOL!! You know what my response to that one would be! They should
also leave out the all of the above in the responsibility question. It just adds all of those who really hold BFEE responsible, to a more ambiguous category. Done so with 'intelligent' design much like the 'asked' wording!

15. I don't understand...
the 12% of dumbshits who blame the city government. How can you be responsible for disaster relief when your entire juristiction is devestated? These 12% of people must be incapable of any rational thought.

17. They see it this way
They got what was coming to them. They shouldn't complain because they're all poor and didn't have anythign to start out with anyway. They should have left the city. The city should have gotten the people out, and then there wouldn't have been any problem.

It's along the same lines as blaming God for creating a world with weather patterns that cause Hurricanes.

They look at poor black people and are either so racist they dont' care about them, or think that human suffering is fine 'if they deserve it'...

Remember upwards of 30% of people would have relected Bush if before the election he had bitten the head off of a small black girl and drank her blood...There is no doubt in my mind that in some sectors him doing that might even have gained him votes.

So yes. They are incapable of rational thought.

18. Or what if they wanted FEMA to delay? NOLA port, oil, and 1,000's of
displaced poor, who are susceptible (homeless, jobless, and trapped!)to recruiting officers for Iraq! Rumor has it that there are recruiting officers at the Dome NOW!
