AB 849 has passed both houses of the State Legislature. It now
awaits the signature (or veto) of Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Come on DUers, lets show him the huge number of people who are concerned about equality for all our citizens, and that even though the religious right is loud, they are far from the majority.

We don't know for sure, although early indications are that he will
veto.

What's the difference between an 'activist' judge deciding that there is no law that would prevent gay marriage, and an 'activist' governor who veto's legislation passed in both houses of the state's legislature?
