4. I liked the look on Snottie's face after he said that
Snottie almost reflexively responded "The president." Then the look on his face turned a bit quizzical, as if he was saying to himself, "That's the right answer, right? No hidden traps, were there?"

Snottie sometimes looks like one of those people who've had the communicating ganglia severed between the right and left brain hemispheres, whose speech and hearing centers are not in contact with each other. He doesn't look like he knows sometimes whether what he just said is right until he hears it.

ABC News ran a tape of that Q-and-A on the Evening News last night, to their credit (of course, the reporter asking the question was their own Terry Moran). I'd like to see tapes from the daily press conference make the evening news a little more often so that people can see some of the boobery that passes for statesmanship in this country.
