It's time for 9/11 debates again....
I can't seem to go a day without getting into it with someone regarding who was truly responsible for 9/11. Conservatives are quick to point out that Clinton did nothing with Bin Laden following the first WTC attack and the USS Cole. And of course, shivers run down my spine when I think of the intelligence briefing less than a month before the attack. But not many are aware of that.

How do you respond to this line of thinking?

1. Ask them why bushco ignored all the warningsfrom intellignece briefings
and from people within their own administration... who were promptly fired upon questioning their leader. Ask why the Bristish had bin laden trapped, but * demanded that they stand down until American troops arrived, and by then, bin laden had escaped.

Ask them why so many troops have died guarding the oil fields while the ammunition warehouses were left standing open and were raided by insergencts who are arriving by the hundreds daily from the countries actually responsible for 9-11.

Ask them why the bush and bin laden families have been partners in the same oil comapnies for years.

And please, don't expect answers. It won't ever happen.

2. Ask what happened to Sen. Roberts' Phase II of the investigation.
That is, ask what happened to the "Use of Intelligence" investigation. It was supposedly postponed until after the presidential election. Now Sen. Roberts says it is on the back-burner.

3. The Freeps can shove their 9/11 arguments up their ass right now.

As Steve Gilliard's blog said a few days ago:

"...Say 9/11 changed everything now, motherfuckers. Ooops, 9/11, 9/11. 9/11. Doesn't work anymore? Gee, maybe the sea of alligator MRE's once known as the citizens of New Orleans has something to do with that. Now you can shut the fuck up about 9/11. Bush just proved what would happen with another 9/11. Dead Americans as far as the nose can smell..."
