Bush says to Pelosi: "'What didn't go right?'" - HOLY SH*T!!!!!
Are you KIDDING me? How is this sociopath our President?!?!?

From http://news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&u=/ap/20050907/ap_on_go_pr_wh/katrina_washington_35

Dems Assail White House on Katrina Effort
By JENNIFER LOVEN and DAVID ESPO, Associated Press Writers

(cut)

At a news conference, Pelosi, D-Calif., said Bush's choice for head of the
Federal Emergency Management Agency had "absolutely no credentials."

She related that she had urged Bush at the White House on Tuesday to fire Michael Brown.

"He said 'Why would I do that?'" Pelosi said.

"'I said because of all that went wrong, of all that didn't go right last week.' And he said 'What didn't go right?'"

"Oblivious, in denial, dangerous," she added.

_____________________________________________

I know the "dangerous" line is getting more play but it's that the POTUS ACTUALLY questioned her assertion that something was wrong with the response to Katrina.

"What didn't go right?"

This criminal psychopath must be IMEPACHED ASAP!

9. Well, back during the election
The general consensus amongst those who were psychologically astute was that President Bush is a classic pathological narcissist. I think he just contriubuted more empirical evidence to back up such an assertion.

He needs to be removed from office and locked away in a suitable facility under the care of competent mental health professionals. The man is not sane.

Today in America we have a very real instance of the inmates running the asylum.

95. On the Red Cross website it sounds like FEMA told them to go away.
I don't think they were ever allowed in the city and according to Brian Williams article online at MSNBC, journalists including Williams and his crew are having the soldiers point weapons at them and they are not allowed in the Convention Center or much leeway in where they go - there are two good articles, one yesterday about some of the sinister things that are going on in NOLA. And Michael Moore is going down there with supplies, said to give SUPPLIES as soon as you can, and Moore said not to believe the spin going on that life is rosy, new school startings, etc. CLG and WayneMadsen.com are even more blunt about the evacuees being treated like internees or prisoners of war in their own country. This is very, very sinister and the dirty deeds and genocide are ongoing.

http://www.protectdarfur.org/Films/darfur.mov"
Very moving short video.

The essence of who we are is atstake. Genocide is evil and must be stopped." So declared New Jersey senator Jon Corzine when he introduced the Darfur Accountability Act last March. The evil in question was the widespread atrocities that are still under way in western Sudan, including the deaths of hundreds of thousands of civilians, along with rape, torture, kidnapping, pillaging, and the forced displacement of millions.

Senator Corzine echoed Secretary of State Colin Powell and President George W. Bush, who six months earlier had used the word "genocide" to characterize the death and destruction in Darfur. That was a historic moment, as the U.S. government for the first time labeled an ongoing crisis "genocide." But the real surprise was that this genocide finding did not trigger an urgent rescue operation. It wasn't supposed to work this way.....

http://www.protectdarfur.org/

On another site, Bette Midlar said that Dufar is "a genocide we can do something about."

As in when he completely had no consciousness of what he was saying when he told a military audience, our entire nation and the world that he never stops looking for ways to harm this country.

Either way, I'm glad those in the public eye are ceasing to mince words when it comes to him.

This last week is not about them F***ing Up.

I mean, in my book they did. And in your book.

But in their idealogy, what happened is just what is supposed to happen.

The catastrophe (end times) happen and the good people survive and the bad people perish.

If they don't exactly perish, well, those on the top - the Holy of Holies - like our President and his vampire mother - they can ensure that no one helps the victims so that they do perish.

Those who got huge tax cuts survived. See, they are Good. And the longer that George W is there, the Gooder they will become.

The blacks whined, and groused, and looted, and then in the end, they left the Astrodome, and according to one TV reporter, on Frisday night "leaving all the debris and trash behind."

94. I'm sure he is a victim of his father's pedophilia and was in a
CIA MK-ULTRA mind-control torture and sexual exploitation program, set up by his father and grandfather using real Nazi human experimenters like Mengeles that they helped escape Germany and with their Paperclip program set them up here and in Canada. Can't you see from the way he acts he was seriously abused, probably on the level of the Gitmo sick torture. We do have to get him out of office but who is pulling his strings, if Cheney, PNACer and Rove who do they report to?

Bush, Jr. is just a puppet what is going on behind the Bushes??

They showed a huge picture of John Edwards "former US Senator" on MSNBC site in the article the Democrats fight back and Clinton said if he had been in charge, he would never have chosen people so unqualified. When did Clinton stop being so mealy-mouthed. What is going on?

FEMA wouldn't let the Red Cross into New Orleans, yet we were ALL being urged to donate to the Red Cross. Do any of you know how to translate the meaning of this? According to Conyers blog the first one on the list was an M.S. Robertson who turned out to be Pat Robertson who is under investigation for fraud with his 700 Club "charity" Operation Blessing, he spent most of the money given to help people to transport equipment to his emerald mine in Africa. See GregPalast.com for other Robertson financial corruptions. FEMA took down this first charity on the list but some people saved it and Conyers' had a link on his site.

New Orleans in Anarchy With Fights, Rapes

By ALLEN G. BREED, Associated Press Writer

NEW ORLEANS - New Orleans descended into anarchy Thursday, as corpses lay abandoned in street medians, fights and fires broke out and storm survivors battled for seats on the buses that would carry them away from the chaos. The tired and hungry seethed, saying they had been forsaken. "This is a desperate SOS," mayor Ray Nagin said.

Chaotic scene at convention center
NBC photojournalist describes horrific situation in New Orleans

After spending the morning shooting some chaotic scenes at the New Orleans Convention Center, NBC Photojournalist Tony Zumbado joined MSNBC's Alison Stewart to describe the scene.

"I can't put it into words the amount of destruction that is in this city and how these people are coping. They are just left behind. There is nothing offered to them. No water, no ice, no C-rations, nothing, for the last four days."

100. Sounds like the Tony Soprano/Godfather remarks he made to
threaten Canadian Prime Minister into supporting his Star Wars new weaponry. One of Paul Martin's aides was so incensed he reported it to the news.

Gush told Martin "Some president, not me necessarily, but some president might say to himself what does America get out of protecting Canada." On Smirking Chimp said it sounded like a threat to nuke Canada and if you think about it does.

I don't know if Paul Martin agreed to finance the plan but shortly thereafter said Canada would not be granting asylum to anymore soldiers who did not want to return to Iraq to commit more atrocities.

Before than Canada had a refugee court and some of the atrocities like soldiers wrapping razor sharp barbed wire around remote villages to create instant Concentration Camps reminded me of that when they were not letting people leave when watching the Shepard Smith, Geraldo Rivera understandable freak out that the people in the Dome were locked in with no water or food that night though they had seen it delivered earlier in the day and infants and elderly were dying and the ones locked out of the dome were not allowed past the military checkpoints to leave the city.

101. The anti-Christ, read your Bible esp. Revelations, St. Luke and
The book of Daniel

After all the destruction described that sounds like the nightly news for the past decade in Revelations a clue is given who to watch out for"

"He who has wisdom, know this that the number of the Beast is the same as the name of a man that is six, threescore and six." 666

George - 6 letters
Walker - 6 letters
Busche - original German spelling for Bush - 6 letters

His mother called him The Chosen One when she wasn't smacking him at the dinner table or humilating him in other ways and his satanic pedophile father abused him and turned him over to the CIA MK-ULTRA child torturers.

The reason for The DaVinci Code coming out at this time is that Bush is going to claim he decended from Christ and the 13 Illuminati bloodlines, Knights Templars actually have believed that for centuries.

The reason why his father left off the Herbert was to give his son the number of the Beast or anti-Christ.

A lot of people going back to church, I think I will too!!

65. 'Deny, deny, deny, and deny denying."
Bush's savage mentality is coaxed by Rove, who encourages him to deny reality. If you make even the most minor, well-known fact debatable, you throw your opponents into confusion and disarray. Make them spend a few weeks proving 'up is up and down is down', and you will probably get away with whatever crimes you've committed lately.

66. Build your own boat
Rather then merely assert that Bush is dangerous tell us why he is dangerous. Relate this to national security. As long as the electorate feels that Bush is strong it doesn't matter that he is wrong. Nothing will change until the electorate is convinced that the Dem's can protect them from dangers both man made and natural better then the Republicans. To merely criticize is not good enough! You can't just poke holes in his boat; you have to have one of your own. If we don't then people can do nothing but bail out Bush's boat

.. the House and Senate are stacked more against him. Want to make a difference? Do your best to get Democrats elected in 2006. Get as much information on the newer Republicans in the Senate and House and see if they can be defeated. I know there's a few here in Michigan that could be beaten if there was a decent candidate to run against them. Heck, I'd run in the next district over if I had the money.

70. My thinking exactly, samplebytes
This administration has never been subjected to any real oversight, whatsoever. And never will, unless we can win at least the Senate back next year.

Remember when the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence conducted hearings on the leadup to the invasion of Iraq? Chairman Pat Roberts (R) decided to specifically exclude the Executive brance from any scrutiny, saying this would be addressed separately after the 2004 election. Vice Chairman Jay Rockefeller's (D) objections were ignored because Republicans are using their control of the Senate to cover for Dubya, no matter what he does.

OK, time has passed. And what about those White House hearings that were promised? Senator Roberts has since decided that they would be a waste of time, and they're not needed after all.

76. What Didn't Go Right? 911 and NOLA
Edited on Thu Sep-08-05 10:22 AM by Dunvegan

Any one notice that in both these disasters:

1. The President was unavailable for a significant period of time after a catastrophic disaster.

911: POTUS did not cut his reading of the "Pet Goat" book to Florida school children after being advised in the classroom he was visiting of the events unrolling in the skies. There was no telling how many planes were going to be involved in the event, yet the president took no aggressive action. It was the FAA, not the President, that made the decision to close US airspace.

And in the immediate time after the event he spent the day skip-hopping Air Force One all over the country (in the opposite direction) without a stopping long enough to lend a word of leadership of any kind the entire day of 911 until early evening.

NOLA/Katrina: The President did not cut his vacation short after the dire warnings of probable catastrophic disaster from the Nat'l Weather Service video-conference on Saturday prior to landfall.

In fact, he headed in the opposite direction to continue his vacation in California.

2. The President had decisions only he could make and was pointedly unavailable to make those decisions.

911: NORAD needed presidential authorization to shoot civilian planes down (as opposed to enemy incoming.)

NOLA/Katrina: Many resources (including US and UK Navy) were near or on the scene around the time of landfall but require the Executive to order them in to go in.

Other aid and supplies required the Executive to sign-off on, including accepting aid and rescue from other countries.

3. Resources that the Federal, and the Federal alone, had access to were not used until the disaster event was long over.

911: Our highly trained NORAD fighters were not dispatched, per hijacking incident, until AFTER there was no chance to catch that plane.

Isn't it NORAD/SPACECOM's business to defend against any attack from above? And aren't they supposed to be very, very effective at this?

NOLA/Katrina: Much (both military and governmental) was on the scene in NOLA/Gulf but was not given a go-ahead until days after Katrina.

Pass the tin-foil hat, please....

Amazingly, polls over the weekend suggest that the country is once again split 50-50 on Bush's performance. Half of the people think Bush and Brownie are doing a fab job.

Why? because half the country does not blame Bush - Thanks to the right-wing media, the right wingers blame the governor of Louisiana and the Mayor of New Orleans. A Republican colleague was even going on about how Gillian "kicked ass" in New York and how poorly the New Orleans Mayor did (as if there were any comparison between a concentrated area in the city and three States!)

In fact, in Freeper world, this is, surprise, surprise, all Clinton's fault!

As Americans we've been conditioned by marketing, advertising and right wing/capitalist propaganda to believe that the meaning of life is related to the quantity of shit you can cram into a box. That no one but the individual is responsible for the aquisition of shit, and that shit must be selfishly hoarded at all costs. In this shit acquiring world, neighbors are rivals and competitors. COmmunity is meaningless outside it's primary function as a means to acquire shit.
Americans don't realize what selfish, shit hoarding bastards they've become.

All those dark-skinned people have been dispersed everywhere across the country--the ones who happened to survive, that is--the land is being cleansed of all those old structures, and soon the rich vultures will be back to collect their FEMA money just like they did in Florida. What's not to like about a plan like that, and why should George think there's anything going wrong with it? Soon Karl will have him and the rest of the Republican thugocracy back on top of the polls, and all will be right with the world once again.

96. Kerry's open letter/petition, please sign!!
If enough people show support for Kerry in this there is a chance that the (relatively) good side of Bilderbergers will get rid of Bush/Cheney, they are the only ones with the power to do so. I have heard that they are in civil war mode, some of the filthy rich do not want the insanity of all out nuclear war, it is worth a try. Support Kerry in this!!

http://www.johnkerry.com/petition/taxcuts.php

President Bush, Majority Leader Frist and Speaker Hastert,

It is totally unbelievable to me that, at this time of pain and suffering for so many people in our nation, Republican leaders have yet to forego their plans to lavish more tax cuts on the wealthy and well-connected.

Such tax cuts at this time would be a total betrayal of American values – and a slap in the face of people in the Gulf Coast who have lost and suffered through so much and have so far to go on the road to recovery.

I demand that the leaders of the Republican Party act immediately to take the idea of tax cuts for the wealthy off the table. And I won’t stop working until you do.

Our message to those who would even contemplate bestowing more tax cuts on the wealthy at this time is clear and unambiguous: Don’t you dare!

Signed,

Your name here
