If He's Not Held Accountable, then What the Hell is Next?? |
|
Bush was not held accountable for any part of 9/11 (slate washed clean). So, he lied us into the Iraq War. He has not been held accountable for those lies nor that war. So, he didn't feel the need to pay any attention to our rediness to fight disasters or any event that could impact the surfs (the American people). And, New Orleans happened. It looks like he will escape blame for this unfortunately (what else is new?). Wonder which of you or your loved ones are going to draw the short straw next time?? Keep protecting Bush, you of the ignorant right, and maybe you will have your chance to scream "help" somewhere in the next three and a half years and realize your on your own to die; and maybe your radio will be on and you can listen to Rush blame it on you...........

1. DON'T LET THEM GET AWAY WITH THIS! |

Call and e-mail MSNBC and deluge them with ire.
From the Daily Kos: Media Already Going Wobbly on Katrina by DavidNYC Wed Sep 7th, 2005 at 14:17:29 PDT
In the past day, I've twice expressed concern that we may not be able to rely on the media to do its job in terms of reporting on the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina (see here and here). Today, Larry Johnson at TPM Cafe provides a chilling behind-the-scenes story that confirms my fears:
While watching the MSNBC program, CONNECTED, COAST TO COAST with Ron Reagan, a man from the Evergreen Foundation was on air spinning the myth that the President had to "beg" the Governor of Louisiana to take action. Having been on this show several times I called one of the bookers, Susan Durrwatcher, to alert her to the fact that this man was misrepresenting what happened. I offered Susan the following objective, documented facts (see timeline below). Susan thanked me for my "opinion" and said "we just have a different perspective". Stunned, I asked her by what standard of journalism that an objective fact was mere opinion? I asked her to simply look at the documents and correct the record. She declined. I asked her to remove me from the MSNBC list of contacts. I'm sure MSNBC won't miss me and I am certain I will have a happy life without having to subject myself to their unprofessional approach to journalism. (Emphasis added.)
Issues of fact are considered "opinion" by the mainstream media - that's both absurd and sickening. This is the kind of posture which allows Newsweek and the Washington Post to swallow double super-secret background spin instead of correctly reporting uncontroverted facts. Just remember that for every Keith Olberman, there are countless Susan Durrwatchers actually pulling the strings in the background. Kudos, though, to Larry Johnson for standing up to outrageous journalistic relativism. • Permalink :: • Discuss (40 comments)

7. Oh, my god.......no wonder I've noticed that the media has |

backed way off of their original "who's responsible for this". I could feel it slipping away all day.

6. methinks the question holds the answer = hell |

The way this evil cabal tries to wiggle out of responsibility is so awesome and amazing, that seems almost bibical in proportions. They never do wrong, because their intentions, world domination, destruction of our civil rights and their absolute ineptitude when it comes to doing real work, prevents any real accounting.
If they succeed this time, we can count our freedom's future in terms of years. On one hand, after amputating the thumb, the forefinger and the most appropriate middle finger. If they succeed.

The BLATANT disregard for human rights and the rule of law by the people in power is not just for people in "other countries," it is now, and has been for some time, clearly aimed at the citizens in this country. We are NO different to them than the citizens they have killed in other countries. Expendable. Without value. Disposable.

... slides into the Pacific? And Bush doesn't even notice, 'cause it isn't on the way to Crawford.
Seriously -- if he doesn't care about a million people, why should he care about >30 million?

10. You're right...each time Bush was allowed to escape justice... |
|
...he and his corporate cronies were emboldened to grab more power...plunder more of our national treasury.
And I don't care what the apologists say or think...but the DEMOCRATIC LEADERSHIP must share the blame in not confronting Bush. They've had over four years to do something about this insane SOB...but they've shown nothing but cowardice.

Indeed, WHAT is NEXT?
In the event of another natural or man-made catastrophe, I think we all know what to expect. We will be left to fend for ourselves as best we can as has been clearly illustrated by the neocon "non responsiveness" to the victims of the hurricane.
The apathy and total lack of concern for the citizens of this country by this government should alert every thinking person as to what the future holds for ALL of us.
I say this with the thought of impending activation of the new bankruptcy and credit card laws which will, over time, leave many in this country in the same condition as the Katrina survivors, in a manner of speaking.
What social infrastructure will be left when millions are left homeless through the inability to pay their debts or declare banruptcy?
The Bush administration is the most evil group of people to ever darken this planet.

It is going to be hard to forgive them for not standing up to Bush for the 100th freaking time.

14. Can't we bring charges against him |
|
and have him and his gang arrested? They are homicidal maniacs. They must be stopped before they do even more damage.
I mean like what next? Bush calls up Putin and tells him to go fuck himself, we've just launced nukes, so that Putin attacks us. I mean these people are crazy. Anything is possible.

16. I PRAY it does not go nuclear! |
|
However, given the Philip Giraldi article about Cheney's instrustions to the Air Force to prepare an air strike on Iran (including nuclear strikes) in the event of another "9-11" I guess it is possible. How do we "arrest them?" Our Congress and Senators SHOULD be filing for impeachment but we see how well that is going... bhn
