And more often than not, there's a bit of "perhaps she meant this" and "perhaps she meant that" analysis, when anyone who knows the old bat knows she's prone to such regally cruel statements. The coverage is no different than the small flap her "beautiful mind" caused. It didn't dent her standing as America's Grandma then, it won't now. It's not a big deal to most.
