2. Well, in the Old Testament

"God" can be pretty wrathful, full of vengence.  Not
sure where it is, but there is a Biblical quote;
"Vengence is mine, saith the Lord."
Its the literal interpretation of the Bible that turned me
away from the traditional-fundamentalist  Christian Church.
