Video: NO couple, with CNN reporter, go home to rescue their cats

Go to http://www.cnn.com/. Under the main headline, "Emptying the Big Easy," click on "Watch: Rescuing cats."

ON EDIT: Anderson Cooper just came on CNN from NO, and reported that he was now seeing pets being evacuated on copters, along with their owners.

3. I was surprised that the Guard would stop and do that -- they were...
wonderful! And this must be a very strong, persuasive woman!

5. I am haunted by the dogs in trees and on roofs and
behind bars. I hope there are many more like these NG that help these poor souls.

4. It really makes a lot of sense to start rescuing the
animals after getting out all the human survivors. Even if you are not interested in the animals themselves, if they are not gotten out, they will start to die and make the water even more foul, and some of them, especially the dogs, will start to scavenge bodies to keep themselves from starving.
