Screw Delay: Democrats need to rent a hotel ballroom - call the media
Call witnesses and conduct hearings without Republicans. Delay can control the halls of congress but he cannot shut people up.

It's time to turn up the heat!

2. I am willing to make major investments of time and money towards such an
effort and I believe lots of others, foreign and domestic, will also do so!

3. D's don't have the power of subpeona, so they could never get
the guilty parties in the dock.

The best they could do would be to get * critics to show up...which would be a mighty bitch fest and not much more.

7. It doesn't matter--first responders and victims will win the public's
hearts over country club elites any time.

4. Maybe we should pressure them to do so.

You know elections are coming up in 2006 and many are up for relection. They aren't going to get very far without donations. I have already hinted that until there is some serious efforts to impeach this administration, there won't be any contributions coming from me for the coming elections.

5. That would be bold, assertive & creative. Too much like Micheal Moore.
Or (shudder) Ciny Sheehan.

If we did that, Sean hannity would be on TV calling us "crazies."

We cant have that, can we?

6. There are first responders that must be burning to tell what they saw.
This is a magnificent idea, seriously.

Get those directly involved (those that immersed themselves in sewer water) and then call on the "supervisors" who won't dare show.

I love this.

9. No investigations necessary under this scenario; just let victims
and first responders tell their stories.

Let the Republican Noise Machine take on the victims, cops, firefighters, and nurses.

It worked so very well for Ahnold...
