They flunked the sobriety test and I'm pointing a finger
Americans starving, baking, dying on overpasses in plain sight surrounded by food, water and manpower. You bet I want to assign responsibility for this heinous, incomprehensible behavior.

The administration calls this finger-pointing and the "blame game".
Democrats - no change that to HUMANS - I hope a simple semantic jujitsu doesn't deter you from our collective responsibility to make sure that crimes against humanity like this are never allowed to occur in our country again and that we undertake this task as quickly as we possibly can. It's like removing a drunk driver from behind the wheel. They are not in control. They do not know what they are doing. They have delayed response times. Their actions cause damage to innocent bystanders.

So yes, I want responsibility, then justice, then change.

(I posted this earlier on Political and it pretty much sank with no comment so I thought I would repost here. Hope that's not against the rules)

1. Not against the rules at all.
Great post, and I've seen many the past week! 'Crimes against humanity' got my attention and seems valid to me.

3. I don't know how the right always puts these moves on us.
Calling any kind of call for accountability the "blame game" is just par for the course for them. Why does it always work for them but the same thing doesn't work for us.

How would THEY counteract something like this if we had come up with this "blame game" phrase?

4. they would rip our heads off and they wouldn't be shy about doing it.
Just imagine Sean Hannity or Rush Limbaugh saying " and now the left is imploring us not to play THE BLAME GAME. Because, as usual they are too gutless to confront their own behavior and the consequences of it. My fellow Americans, this is what happens when people are too weak to stand up and accept the facts. They cannot explain their behavior, so they cower behind something a marriage therapist might say. (high, mocking voice) "Ooooh, let's not play the BLAME game. Let's MOVE AHEAD. Let's leave this behind us. " Because their answer for everything is therapy. Because the left is unable to accept RESPONSIBILITY.

That is what the Right would say if the shoe was on the other foot.
