Aaron Broussard for Congress!
Not sure what district he's in, but I think he'd be a good candidate sometime in the future. Just speculating.

3. I heard an interview with him the other day.

That was *after* his MTP appearance. Boy, was he impressive. He seemingly had a hundred balls in the air at once. He was directing the whole operation in Jefferson Parrish and it was *very* apparent that he knew the details of each and every project going on, from fire fighting to work on the restoration of utilities (and I mean all of them), to law enforcement, blah, blah, blah. He went on and on and on.

I sat there slack-jawwed. That man has got his shit together. Congress would be very fortunate to have somebody of his caliber.

4. Great minds think alike. Here's hoping he channels that
grief and righteous anger into something bigger than the presidency of Jefferson Parish--although I suspect he'd slap me down good for implying that Jeff Parish isn't important in and of itself.

5. Brousard
is in charge of probably 5-600k in is office as parish president. Jefferson Parish is actually larger in population and land than Orleans.

So unless he ran for Senate, his power would decrease. Right now we have a full slate of D's in LA -- Ray Nagin, Broussard, Blanco, Landrieu.

6. He's just what we need. He knows how to tell things like they are, doesn'
take any nonesense from anyone, and has great compassion and common sense.

I could only dream...but I hope at some point he will run.
