What a freakin joke. I don't know what's worse. The fact that they are still holding it while our troops are still needed in the relief effort in LA, MS and AL, or the fact that it's such a major exploitation of the events of 9/11.

Also, it would have been interesting to see if they would even let me (or any of us) register. Unlike other events of it's type, this one makes you pre-register which means they are screening all attendees. Wouldn't it be something if we all tried to register and got denied? Talk about a great story to send to the media-- 100's of Americans denied access to event supporting the troops sponsored by the Federal Government".

4. What a travesty. We need to media blast this

it is quite possible that CNN has forgotton that this is still on in all the confusion. We need to alert them and the Daily Show too; although odds are they are on top of it.
