only 10% of republicans think the federal government did a bad job
what does that mean? we are living in a parallel universe, theirs and mine.

Nothing will happen to Bush, or Brown. Nothing will change. Not when 90% of them can't see what is going on around them.

I'm feeling hopeless after watching Olberman.

17. I agree....totally.
Like 90% of all Republicans voted for this clown a second term.

In my little conservative part of Maine, the rural, multi-generational small community that has always been strongly Republican and/or Independent...I did a small survey of people who I knew were registered republicans. I engaged a dozen of these people specifically as to who they voted for. Only 2 said Bush, 2 wouldn't tell me (I assume Bush) and the rest were quite open in sharing their opinion that he was the worst President ever. So I figure, 7-8 out of 12 registered Republicans voted Kerry. Maybe this was a statistical anomoly, but I wonder if there isn't this massive fraud that's been perpretrated on the people of the USA....like maybe Bush's real support is closer to 30%. I cannot believe that 90% of the Republicans are willing to allow this level of criminal incompetence to be rewarded. I could far easier believe that polls/elections are engineered to give us an appearance that we are a divided nation. I can no longer take these polls at face value....I wish to hell Dean would start a massive Democratic polling of this country, so we can get a second opinion on what the country thinks.

18. Brainwashing is hard to do without polls

otherwise their whole bandwagon propaganda doesn't work very well.

If you think those polls are real then you honestly think that Americans are the most evil people on Earth and that makes me sad.

3. * In that Poll *
I hereby move that every time a statistic from a poll is slung about, it should be prefaced in every way possible with "According to this one poll."

Could we all do that, please?

4. They are so f***ing afraid of losing power they refuse to admit what
we KNOW they have to see. These kinds of things make my blood boil.

They wanted to run the last president out over a blowjob, for Pete's sake.

5. It really makes you wonder what it would take to get them to wqake up.
It seems that you could march their neighbors off and they would find some way to excuse it.

Edited on Thu Sep-08-05 12:57 AM by Erika
Period. They might have to answer for a few things, like his committment of our troops to an insane war, a economy that is collapsing, the mismanagement of this tragedy with its racial connotations. They'll run from it.

The democrats need to get a freaking back bone or get the hell out of office.

I am sick of seeing the republicans control the spin, control the media, and no dem stand up or out. We need a voice. We need a plan. And we need it 2 years ago!!!!

13. Basically they phoned 609 people on a holiday weekend (look at the
dates of the poll)

I'd really like to know WHO THE HELL THEY CALLED! I was home all weekend. I'd like to know how the quesions were phrased.

All I've seen are articles ABOUT the polls not the actual poll questions.
