CSPAN caller "We don't need to blame, we need to get together
...not R not D." This is a discussion with Bennie Thompson (D-MS). I respectfully disagree with his stance that there should be no fingerpointing or blame assigned. These people didn't shoplift chewing gum from the corner mom-and-pop--they allowed people to die by the thousands.

1. Let see, he is from MS

May be his first goal is to help his people and make sure that the bills are passed in the House and the Senate.

Obviously, there will be a lot of blame to do, but it seemed yesterday that the Republicans were stalling on the bills that could help people (note how nothing has been done since Tuesday in the Senate, for example, and how Delay prevented the Dems to improve the spending bill).

So, once again, let's care about the people first and make clear the Republicans once again do not care.

(Our governor, Mitt Romney, is so disappointed that he could not have his photo-op with refugees as they dont want to go as far as MA. HOw could they refuse the help:sarcasm:).

2. Oh come on . . . Mitt doesn't need them to come here.
He's more than happy to go to them. Since when does Mitt find it necessary to stay in Massachusetts to make an ass of himself?

3. Not the same effect - He can show people that he actually helps that way.
He has made such an effort to be the ONLY one involved in that in MA.

4. He may get his wish after all ...
WBZ Radio reported that about 500 people have decided to take the option to be transferred to out of state facilities. They decide which state they want to go to and MA is one of them.
