Today's press briefing preview.
Q: Speaker Hastert and Leader Frist said yesterday that an independent commission will investigate just what went wrong and what went right during the Katrina disaster. Why hasn't the democratic leader been contacted?

Scott M.: The vice-president is, as we speak, on the scene right now. He will be meeting with FEMA directors to review what has transpired.

Q: Well, has Reid been notified of the investigative commission or are there any plans to notify him?

Scott M.: I have already addressed that.

Q: Is that a yes or a no?

Scott M.: Brainerd, huh? Is that where they have Babe the Blue Ox?
