So, if we can clearly document the spread and impact of propaganda... |
|
what can we do about it? I just have such a sinking feeling - throughout many threads here, we've seen the song and dance, misinformation, Rovian techniques in black and white for all to see. Aside from blasting this to the media (who already may be bought off), and the Dems (who already may be either bought off or so deep into their own brand of corporate politics) what can we do so that we all don't explode or implode? Looking for some real guidance here...what is the strategy, folks?

1. not a suggestion, but an observation |

i have been doing my daily scan of various blogs on numerous topics and i am consistently seeing the same question you posed. it seems that many people are in need of a release and are thirsty for a solution.
maybe this is the time.

2. We have to gather a constituency of representatives willing,... |

,...to support a bill prohibiting government-sponsored propaganda that is clearly intended to deceive. Perhaps, when the Dems take back either the house or the sentate, this will be possible.

for something like this? i just imagine the number of faux dems we'd have to remove, enabling verified voting in all districts etc..
is there not a swift AND sound measure we could undertake as soon as possible?
(i agree w/ you completely, by the way)
