I sense this story is slowly seeping below the horizon. Will the media keep with it? Will they allow themselves to be excluded from the area? Will BushCo succeed in hiding NO's dead as successfully as they've hidden the dead in Iraq?

3. yeah, with mandatory evacuations, press bans, and dispersal of

residents around the entire US, kind of makes accurate censuses of both living and the dead difficult, doesn't it?
