Superdome evacuees telling their stories -- Astrodome media lockdown!
Edited on Thu Sep-08-05 11:37 AM by Julius Civitatus
They have quickly issued a media lockdown in the Astrodome, as some of the evacuees are telling some very harrowing stories:

The above link summarizes some of the conversations that a few peopel had with random evacuees in the Astrodome.

2. But, but, but these people should be grateful that Georgie came
to rescue them.... 5 days latter.
Another swoosh of the broom, sweeping the story out of site of the general public.

6. I kept reading about a levee being destroyed on purpose, but I
thought that those reports related to a levee in St. Bernard's Parish, downstream from NO.

4. It would be nice if people
could come together during times like these to help each other rather than preying on others, but you're pretty much always going to have a few sick nuts in any random large group of people. I think they are having trouble policing the dome well because it's so big & there are so many nooks and crannies with poor visibility. I feel for the people stuck in there -- I hope they are at least well aware of the problem so they can stay in groups and not wander around alone or let children roam too far! So scary!
