they interviewed another guy who was asking FEMA for help and they said they would get back to him. He said, how're they going to get back to me? I have no house, no phone.......so how're they going to contact me?

This administration has heavily invested itself in convincing the American people that it can perform magic: Invade and conquer Iraq on a shoestring, empty the Treasury into the pockets of the overrich and still balance the budget, let polluters write environmental regulations and come out with cleaner water and air, and so forth. Now would be a damn good time for them to perform some magic, because here in reality world, they're looking pretty hapless. It would almost be humorous if people weren't dying due to this ineffectual flailing.
