Pelosi isn't just some hack column writer with an opinion, she's an elected member of Congress. House minority leader as I seem to recall.

Nancy Pelosi. I think that may have been the worst behavior exhibited by a news person while talking to an elected representative that I've seen so far. Phillips was so over the line...almost frothing at the mouth, it was an extremely unprofessional performance.

...it was such an emotional exchange, Kyra ranting on and on not letting Pelosi get a word in...I thought, what a b!tch. After it was over I had second thoughts. She didn't actually ever defend Bush. She said that FEMA is not at fault alone. When Pelosi accused her of being on the WH payroll...she acted like she was totally insulted and her response to defending the Administration was a high pitched "NOT AT ALL!!!!" Now I'm thinking she was just totally disgusted with the whole situation. And disgusted with government as a whole.

Nancy Pelosi never lost...cool and professional all the way. But she looked enormously relieved when it was over.
