Rush was just blasting Mary Landeau of LA for her criticism of the Admins efforts. Claims that first off, where was HER legistlation to fix the levees when everyone was concerned about their viability during a cat 5 hurricane. then he was wondering where all the money went because during shrubs first 5 years, more money went to the army corp of engineers.

3. I do agree that states need to start fixing their own problems...

the key here is making sure the states can AFFORD to fix their own problems, which is certainly not the case now with the war/corporate bailouts/pork barrel spending/massive oil profits etc. I don't fear big government, I just prefer it in chunks i.e. states, since I think they are more in tune with what their populace wants.
