I was just over at FEMA
And that place is locked up tighter than a drum.

Talked with a friend who works there, couldn't get past the atrium -- even tho I'm a federal employee and have valid ID.

There's a big control room set up and I was able to glimpse inside.

His words: THEY FUCKED UP, AND THEY ARE IN REPAIR MODE NOW.

2. repair mode?
How do they repair dead people? Can FEMA bring them back to life?

Anyway, I can only hope for the sake of the people still alive that they get their acts together.

6. Neecy
It's not the dead that they are trying to repair.

he's been with them for at least 5 years.

you have to understand that it was very hard trying to talk in the atrium, and there are guards everywhere -- inside and out.

9. They're in repair mode, but they didn't fuck up

They did exactly what the Bush Oval Office orchestrated them to.

What fucked up is "the blame game" Bush was trying to play against the (female Democratic) governor. Now that it's been revealed that Bush tried to force her to sign over control of the LA national guard AND that he delayed aid to the LA parishes that he must have known would need it most, someone else is going to have to take the fall...
