CNN showed the whole F**CK You CHENEY Clip and the Kerry snipe!
On Blitzer's Situation Room. Cafferty said he bets it's not the last time Cheney will hear that. :D

Good News...

1. email I just sent Jack...
Hi, Jack -

First, it is entirely appropriate for the Dem leaders to say what they are saying, because this is not a snapshot in time - we cannot stop time and other disasters are possible - terrorist attacks, storms, etc. Those currently in power obviously are not prepared, so heads need to roll immediately or else we will go from bad to far worse. The current administration has only taken us backwards - many of them need to go. And isn't it interesting that the blame game talking point is just what they are doing - blaming things on the locals, as they themselves cry out to not blame....blatant right wing hypocrisy, which has become a sport of late.

So - I hope and pray that the result for the 06 election is sweeping out the corrupt, lying, ineffective republicans. the Dems are not perfect, of course I realize that - but at this point it is the lesser of evils. And, make no mistake, what we are under is evil. I applaud the new found spine and courage of the media to call it right for a change!

4. Thanks for that....I remember when Caffert used to Diss Dems as bad
as Limpballs when he was on with Soledad. It's hard to believe he may have turned...but maybe he's just a good actor.

Anyway, it was good to see.

2. Cafferty Rules!
He also mentioned that Cheney used the same language on the floor of the Senate when angry at Patrick Leahy. Wolf hemmed and hawed about the whole thing. Idiot!

3. What does Kerry have to do with the price of tea on Neptune?
:wtf:

Everything comes back to blaming someone else.

8. Well, Cheney hasn't been on the trail since the last election, really
-- too much time in the bunker -- so he is still programmed that way. It's a Rip Van Winkle moment.

16. Bushies live in Campaign Mode..that's what's so disgusting about Cheney
Edited on Thu Sep-08-05 05:35 PM by KoKo01
comment. All he could think of was Dissing Kerry to do that "impromtu" moment where he was there to do his prepared speech ...instead of the suffering and death and destruction that his "handlers and Medics wouldn't show him. :-(
Shows what they are all about...the Bush Crime Family. Hit back hard at your opponents...it's worked for them for so long. Right out of the old PNAC PlayBook/Script.

until Katrina bit 'em in the ass and thousands more died for Bush lies.

:nuke:

5. Sweet irony!

How does it feel, shithead?

Jack Cafferty may be a crusty old codger, but I think Bush and the Gang Who Couldn't Shoot Straight have crossed the line with him.

I think the old-line Conservatives are going to be the ones that really help take down Bushie, and soon!

6. I don't know if it was a snipe at Kerry
Cheney said "I bet that's a friend of John (or Jon)...er, nevermind." Maybe Cheney was going to mention Jon Stewart. Stewart's been far more hard-hitting on the admin's reponse than Kerry, or any other John I can think of.

9. Not Jon ..
Geez, I don't think Dick Cheney gives much of a damn about what the Daily Show has to say. I thought Kerry as soon as he said it live.

He should have just shut up, but of course they always try to be clever.

15. . . . .
<snip>

Sen. John Kerry of Massachusetts, the Democratic presidential candidate in 2004, said in an interview: ``It's a summary of all that this administration is not in touch with and has faked and ducked and bobbed over the past four years. What you see here is a harvest of four years of complete avoidance of real problem solving and real governance in favor of spin and ideology.''

12. imagine, if you will, a place in time shown on cnn where VP
Dick Cheney is standing before a small group of reporters in the requisite light blue dress shirt, not rolled up at the sleeves. He takes questions, only from those he calls on. He is at the same level as all other humans in the scene, not elevated or sitting on a stool next to the wifebot.

A male voice is heard from behind the clutch of reporters, someone walking by: CNN partially bleeped it down to the "Mr Cheney" part.

Cheney reacted with a smile, made the John/Jon attempt, laughed, the minions all laughed with him while hundreds and hundreds (thousands?)
of people, CHILDREN, were still rotting and dying in their attics.

He looked relatively trim for him. Pale and soft - someone who does no heavy lifting. Wasn't wearing a heavy jacket and didn't appear to have any heart resuscitation equipment attached anywhere. He sounded just like he does - mumbly, talking nonstop, not needing to take a breath, in a monotone.

One of the reporters tried to ask a followup and Cheney raised his finger at him, not 'the finger' - but one held straight up like, nonono, I am in charge. And the guy shut up. Why doesn't the press take charge?

13. When the reporters asked Dick if he heard much of that remark
Edited on Thu Sep-08-05 04:09 PM by txindy
(The 'Go Cheney, yourself' remark heard on-camera, I mean), he replied along the lines of, "No, but he must be a friend of John...Um, uh. Never mind."
