Mexican Army now Comes to the US to bring the Aid that we've sent to Iraq!
Edited on Thu Sep-08-05 03:28 PM by KoKo01
Not in 150 Years has Mexican Military Operated in the United States. Will they be working with our National Guard? How does this sit with the Right Wingers. CNN shows the convoy of Military going for miles.

Will the Canadian Mounties now be called into service.

Can anyone BELIEVE THIS? BUSH BRINGS IN THE MEXICAN MILITARY! Should we worry about this or be happy that they are willing to help us. Is this LEGAL? So many questions!

2. Canadian Mounties are already there

Sheriff Stephens, interviewed on the Cajun Queen, also said federal assistance had been minimal. "I have Royal Canadian Mounties who have gotten here faster than the federal government," he said. "I have made more life-and-death decisions in the last four or five days than I have in 22 years."

The Canadians were actually members of a 47-member search-and-rescue team sent from the municipal government in Vancouver, British Columbia.

Its members have gone from house to house, extracting survivors who have weathered the storm and its bitter aftermath. At least 200 were identified yesterday, said Terry Nikolai, a member of the Canadian team.

3. It's a Good Thing that Mexican Army Convoy is now in the US?
Just because they are providing aid? What if there was an anti Bush uprising in DC on the 24th and the Mexican Army was deployed to help quell the Anti-Bush Rioters. Would that be a good thing?

4. Anything is legal in BushWorld. That's the beauty of it for them.
I was whispering to myself, "Game over. Bush has reduced us to accepting aid from Mexico." Please, understand that I've been to the border cities where people live like evacuees every day, sending a family member across the border for a better paycheck, and little kids selling "Chicklet" and hoping for some American change versus pesos.

I think the Mexican Military is here to provide water purification systems, etc, that will really help with those that are stuck in evacuation centers.

6. Thank you Mexico!
This is the way Mexico operates -- the Army is the best equipped agency used for humanitarian purposes on Mexican soil. They offered their help and we accepted.

I believe this is nothing but a benevolent response. We should be thanking Mexico just like we did the Canadians.

7. The Ironies Are Multiple
* Now that the "Minutemen" are moving-in to TX, and have actually upped their dates because Border Patrol has diverted manpower to NO...

* Now that the anti-immigrant (or racist or Skinheads or whatever they are) are gathering strength,

* Now that Bill O'LOOFAH, MALKIN, and TANCREDO are DAILY upping their anti-immigrant rants,

---------this is when the MEXICAN ARMY enters U.S. (formerly MEXICAN) territory! LOL!!!

Btw, one of the "Minutemen" will be on the local radio wingnut talkshow tomorrow. I'm planning to call-in this question, "How do you guys support yourselves---do you work?---where do you get the time and money to 'volunteer' for your extended appearances?"

8. do they get "guest worker" passes?
Let me ask. WHich country is 1st world and which is 3rd world? amazing.

Bush has sunk this country down to a level that I wouldn't be surprised to wake up one day and see him dressed full time in military uniform with gold epaulets and mirror sunglasses and openly gun-toting aids on either side of him.

he's a fucking lunatic. placed in power by the likes of now-deceased Renquist and voting irregularities along with a healthy dose of religious brain washing.
