BBC WORLD: ITS A PR JOB
A BBC World reporter has just said that Cheney's visit was a PR job and there is a lot angry over the politicans handling of the Hurricane.

She also said people arent angry with the resuce workers.

Glad to see some honest reporting.

1. Nothing but warm feelings for the rescue workers.
They are doing the best they can under incompetent leadership.

2. maybe the BBC will do a comparative report on bush's response last week
to his response last year, when swing-state Florida was hit with multiple hurricanes. He responded big time and immediately last year (election year) but not last week - why? He proved last year he has the wherewithal to launch a federal response to hurricanes ... why did he respond with complete impotence to Katrina?
