GUITAR PLAYERS AGAINST BUSH
I know The Professor with me on this one. The fact that when one thinks of a guitar scorn and shame is probably the first thought.

This is a travesty to guitar players and guitars worldwide to have been given this horrible image since Nero had to fiddle on one damning all that we hold holy in the Wild Stringdom.

Understand we guitar players are mortified that this man was allowed to pose with a guitar and we demand that any guitar this punk touches be immediately smashed as it will be considered a mercy killing for the poor instrument.

1. ROLF- Count me in
The idiot was playing a G chord on the THIRD fret.
Maybe he had an invisible capo to match his
imaginary Emperors New Clothes?

...but he didn't understand the fret position and never actually strummed it or he would have heard the difference. :scared:

Then again, he never listens to anything anyway.

6. My first thought was how did that moron learn the G form?
Yes, he was playing it in the wrong position (what else), but he had the form.

I hope it was an accident, because I don't want old shit for brains being a guitar player--we are better than that.

SNARK-
I've always held to the philosophy that
music is what happens BETWEEN the notes.

Speaking from a woman's point of view;
a woman who can not help but notice the
fact that certain guitar players I have known tend
to over compensate certain physical limitations
with the notes per minute technique...
Like I said...

17. Hell yea I am down!
I am a little rusty right now since I have been back into it seriously for only a few months after 4 long years of college and not nearly enough practice and improvement.

However I use garageband to record riffs and little mini songs here and now that I can easily convert into mp3's for trade and so forth and well I no longer have any jam partners out here in Tucson so anytime man! next time I have a chance to sit down and crank out a cool piece or something you'll be the first to get it.

39. That's Ok By Me
Don't want to play any Bruce. But, in fact, i know three REALLY good harp players. One of them played with Travis Tritt for about 8 years. Another played with a band in Austin (he was from the same town as me, but moved to Austin to play with a band that was really good friends with Asleep at the Wheel. His band's name, however, escapes me.) And, we've got a pal who hangs at the jam nights who's a pretty darned good player too. Not as good as the other two guys, but pretty good.

I like playing harp, too, but i don't like the maintenance. When they start getting sticky, i lose interest, and then the things sit for 6 months.

But, you can join our Guitarists Against Bush. (G.A.B.) Any musician qualifies. Obviously, Silverspoon is no musician.

Actually, since some of the Katrina victims are being moved north, i suggest we burn those guitars touched by Silverspoon in a pot bellied stove to keep the poorest of the victims warm this winter.

Someday, bush'll be faced with a life-or-death gittar showdown, cutting heads against Steve Vai in the pits of Hell, and Vai will lay down some crazy-ass chops. George will then pull out his G-chord, put it on the wrong fret, and Satan will devour his tiny soul in one gulp.
