Edited on Thu Sep-08-05 05:23 PM by NNN0LHI
He knows the Dem's got his Bush boy by the balls. So the Dem's should not use any first person statements from Katrina victims for political gain. He says it is unseemly. Who wants to defend Lou Dobbs on this?

12. I used to enjoy Dobbs when he reported on
"Exporting America". Then, this reporting shifted to highlight the deficiencies in today's schools, as if to say that THIS is the reason why our jobs are being off-shored.

The final straw was when, on the day after the 2004 election, he talked about Bush's "mandate" as if it were a reality.

This was when I finally stopped watching him.

Shame on him.

13. Now it's 12,000 Busses !!!!!!!!!!!!
Did you catch that report just now on Lou's show? 12 fucking thousand busses !!! Where did that reporter get this number? Out of her ass? I kid you not ..... she just stated why 12,000 busses were not used to get the people out. I know the bus bullshit has been refuted as nonsense. No drivers, not enough time to mobilize, gas? .... 14 hours to get 100 miles in the traffic ONCE ON THE ROAD, not counting organizing, loading, logistics, etc etc on and on ... but now the busses have mutated from pictures of 300, 400, maybe 500 to 12,000 fucking busses! Did you hear that? 12 fucking thousand busses !!! Un-believable ...... just when I thought it was safe to turn back on the t.v. more ignoramus reporting of made up bullshit. sigh ..... Peace.

25. This article from an Omaha TV station web site puts the number at 200.
Stressed Evacuees
Critics question emergency planning

New signs of stress among hurricane evacuees are emerging.

snip

Congress is now investigating what went wrong with the governments' early response to Hurricane Katrina.

A senate committee will get a closed door briefing tomorrow from FEMA. Public hearings will follow.

Critics are scrutinizing all levels of government, asking questions such as why 200 school busses sit under water in New Orleans, when a draft emergency plan a few years ago warned buses would be needed.

The only critics this article mentions are the ones harping on the school busses.

How absurd!

This is getting ridiculous.

Their story on the Mexico disaster relief was completely positive and thanked Mexico.

He's now currently blasting FEMA.

Please be accurate with your comments.

22. Dobbs seemed quite puzzled at to why the Mexicans had to "deliver" the aid
In other words we want the aid but send it by UPS, because we don't want no Mexicans coming here to deliver it. Nice eh?

You must have just plum forgot that part, huh?

23. no, he was talking about armed military
give me a break.

Lou is sometimes gets on some things I find absurd, such as PC stuff, but overall he has been *the* journalist talking about bad trade agreements, outsourcing as being a way to do cheap labor and so many other issues that are so important to the middle class, those minor things I forgive.

But, there are these people, open border economic idiots who bash anyone who says anything about illegal aliens.

Lou Dobbs is a friend of the middle class.

24. You must be hearing what you wanty to hear or somerthing? Give me a break
<snip>CASEY WIAN, CNN CORRESPONDENT: Lou, we're about to show you some pictures that would have been unimaginable just a couple weeks ago. This is a convoy of Mexican Army troops crossing the Rio Grande, entering the United States. It's the first time they've been this far north since the Mexican-American war in 1846.

But these Mexican soldiers are unarmed. Some 200 are now in Texas to help provide humanitarian aid to victims of Hurricane Katrina. They've brought mobile kitchens, water treatment facilities and medical personnel.

SCOTT MCCORMACK, STATE DEPT. SPOKESMAN: It is very heartening when the United States is in a time of need that our good friends and neighbors in Mexico respond with a very generous offer. I think the fact that this is an overland convoy is symbolic of that close relationship. And we very much appreciate the Mexican people and the Mexican government coming to the aid of those who need it.

WIAN: A Mexican Navy ship has also arrived in U.S. waters off Mississippi with helicopters and other search and rescue equipment.

Of course, as we've often reported, the relationship between the United States and Mexico has grown increasingly tense in recent months, mainly over the issue of illegal immigration. But for now, at least, there's a clear spirit of cooperation. We spoke with several lawmakers and other groups who've been sharply critical of the Mexican government in the past. And none of them found anything bad to say about this mission, Lou.

DOBBS: In fact, there's a great deal of good to say about this. The fact is that is a great gesture, a gesture shared by a number of other countries. Any reason why Mexico could not send this aid without sending troops?

Lou Dobbs is a racist prick.

That's the problem.

Asshat Bernard Kerick up. Yeah dipshit, Giuliani had people from all over the country that were LET IN to help. And you didn't have FEMA tell first responders NOT to respond.

I hate them all, hate them so much I can't begin to describe it...
