Gregory's report on Nightly News.....is a joke.
I'm sorry....David Gregory may act all indignant and uppity when he goes at it with Scotty during the daily briefings. But that's where it ends.

His report just now on NBC included back to back, practically to back, clips involving Cheney, Laura and Chimpy's battle axe mother. All three clips - meant to highlight how the administration is struggling to convince people it's doing a good job responding to Katrina - were edited so as to not portray the real time truth of what happened in the moment. Cheney's appearance in Mississippi, where the guy told him to 'go fuck himself', was snipped....Laura's appearance today in the grade school(?), where she twice-repeated her "Hurricane Corina" comment, was snipped....and battle-axe Barbara's "what's really scary" comment was snipped from the front of her now-famous quote about how lucky the evacuees in Houston were.

So, to review....we DID see the clips of Cheney standing in front of that ruined house, but that clip ended before the guy off camera made his appearance....we DID see Laura in the school, but her "Corina" comments, poof, vanished....and the full text of Babs' wildly insensitive and wildly racist comments, went AWOL. Just like her idiot son.

Now THAT'S "what's really scary".

1. It's like Reagan all over again.
The media showed clips of him with people while the voice over mentioned the controversy he started. But the Repugs were elated, because the picture is what has impact, not what is being said. Same old, same old. They always give the Repugs those photo-ops.

3. Yes, I've watched Gregory and Terry Moran giving Scotty a hard time and
asking tough questions at the press briefings and then when they do their reports for the nightly newscasts, they bland it right out till it's not harmful to Bushie.....It's pathetic!

4. Gregory wasn't there. He's a hack anyway. They all are.
