What's the WH doing with the operative's W-2 forms?

Tax filings are confidential. What on earth is going on here? This is ANOTHER felony!

<http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/articles/A40012-2003Oct3.html>

... After the name of the company was broadcast yesterday, administration officials confirmed that it was a CIA front. They said the obscure and possibly defunct firm was listed as Plame's employer on her W-2 tax forms in 1999 when she was working undercover for the CIA.

2. Election contribution form disclosed employer name - which was not CIA
So this outed the fake corporation - and all its overseas contacts and employees and visitors and those that got money transfers from that CIA front/

A major disaster - that US Media is trying to hide.

7. they sure are trying to hide it...
hardly a peep today on tv about Treasongate. I did see a little bit on cnn where they interviewed and ex-cia guy who was acknowledged it was a big deal outing the agent. Yet strangely he seemed to be ignoring the leak came from the WH, was trying to implicate another departmentin the Administration. He also insisted there was no need for an independent investigator. They are desparate indeed and where they hell did they find that guy?

3. Crack in the dam

This affair is the first crack in the White House 'Wall of Shame'. Things that have been hidden for so long, are just now beginning to flood DC. This investigation will force open the flood gates. What we are seeing are just the first little trickles. I predict an 'Enemy list' is next.

YeeHaa!

And drops another bombshell. OMG.

This isn't just the CIA that is po'd at W. It looks like the oil industry may be involved too.

Plame's employer, Brewster-Jennings & Associates has an interesting namesake. Brewster Jennings grandfather, Oliver Jennings founded Standard Oil with JD Rockerfeller. This thing has tenticles all over the place.

9. Declaring war on the CIA
The only entity which stands to be damaged by the outing of a front organization is the CIA itself. Normal policy in these kinds of cases is to contain the damage by refusing comment rather than expand it by confirming leaked bits and pieces. The fact that yet another CIA cover operation is pretty clear evidence that elements of the White House are at war with the CIA and are aiming to cause the agency as much damage as possible, regardless of the cost to national security.

Worse still, it's unlikely Plame was the only 'employee' of "Brewster-Jennings and Associates." Setting up fronts takes considerable effort and it would be reasonable to assume that more than one CIA operative was 'employed' by the same company. It's anyone's guess how many other agents could be uncovered if one were to search through official records for employees of "Brewster-Jennings and Associates." The ultimate damage could be massive.

...in GD on the Terrence J. Wilkinson story that surfaced during the apparent Dirty Tricks Week at the WH in July.

We MUST get that story revisited. Something is there. Something big.

Thinking of this match-up I see a the CIA against the Mayberry Machiavellis. My money is on the CIA.

Poppy will understand they had to take Jr. down, it's like the mafia. These things happen......

11. Good catch
I read the article and did not even think about the fact that the White House should not have access to her W-2 forms. You are right, her forms should be private.
