Landrieu has what Bush wants. She can refuse to give it till he gives her what she wants.

Extraordinary times call for extraordinary measures. And this sounds like the just kind of concept any politician can understand. Time for the Dems to start playing hardball.

Now it's time to use the biggest power you've got as a Senator, and leverage your unique position to take the fight to him where it counts, and get listened to this time.

Senator, if you have any hope of getting your state back on its feet, and rescuing the citizens of New Orleans, it should be plain as day by now that you're gonna have to take hostages.
