Calling Sen. Landrieu: Want a Katrina Investigation? Block Roberts. (Kos)
Wow. Kangro X on Kos is thinking "outside the box" and came up with an amazing idea. It might just work.

Landrieu has what Bush wants. She can refuse to give it till he gives her what she wants.

Extraordinary times call for extraordinary measures. And this sounds like the just kind of concept any politician can understand. Time for the Dems to start playing hardball.

Hurricane Katrina changed everything.

It's time to play rough, and I know you're ready. You've said as much, and you've been willing of late to call Bush on his bullshit, when necessary. Now it's time to use the biggest power you've got as a Senator, and leverage your unique position to take the fight to him where it counts, and get listened to this time.

Senator, if you have any hope of getting your state back on its feet, and rescuing the citizens of New Orleans, it should be plain as day by now that you're gonna have to take hostages.

That's a power they gave you as a United States Senator, and it's time for you to exercise it.

2. Ooh. Nice!
Of course that would mean Landrieu would actually have to oppose King Dumbass**, which would be a first, but she sounded none too happy with his "leadership" during the helicopter tour they showed on Snuffleupagus Sunday, so maybe...

3. I was thinking the same thing last night, but wasn't sure if such a thing
could be done. AS long as the Dems don't worry about the filibuster nuke threat.. I mean c'mon.. it would look petty if Frist brought it up now.

4. I totally agree. Dems should band together on this until a full and
competent investigation is secured.
