This ain't the "60's REVOLUTION"...and it's weak and some is Devisive

But, try to watch all the MUSIC this weekend...because "those behind us are TRYING!"

They deserve our support! On now tonight...lots of MUSIC..whether you like it or NOT!

I try...even though I want to be in my "hidey hole" with my "ears stuffed doing NYAHHH....NYAHHH...

We have to support what we have...it's new and needs our support..saying this to those of us who've "been there and done that...and thought back then..we could SAVE IT ALL.!"

It NEVER ENDS...the FIGHT for the PEOPLE.

Watch your Media Whore Music Donations to Katrina Fesitivals."

Give them your support..even, as I said, you can't deal with the "retro sound" and the sychophants.

10. Found this
Man's Inhumanity to Man. A Short Historical Background
The Scottish poet Robert Burns ( 1759- 1796), who was passionate about freedom and respect for humankind, wrote, "Man's Inhumanity to Man, makes countless thousands mourn" ( "Man Was Made to Mourn," Stanza 7, 1786). Throughout history, countless thousands continue to mourn as a result of pain, torture, and loss of life inflicted upon them or those near and dear to them--innocent men, women, and children. In spite of the teachings of Moses, Jesus, Buddha, and Mohammed, perpetrators and victims of pain and suffering have been found among all peoples, all nations, all religions, and all races. Yet, we must also note the poets, journalists, statesmen, and ordinary people, who, in many voices and often at great risk to themselves, elect to speak out against the inhumanity they see, in the hope that in time parents might raise their children in peace.

12. In time that many voices at great risk to themselves might
raise their children "in peace."

Says it all that we keep trying and trying and trying. And we are successful many times...but as I said earlier..it's a long hard slog..to keep at it. The creatives and the "pipers of music" often need to lead a way and that's why it's a "slog."

and we are out there now. We got off like Cheney...we got deferments and lucky numbers. Maybe it's our guilt. But, it's not like we didn't do anything before either. Not like Cheney and PNAC those who never did anything but plot themselves forward. But, that those of us who didn't "serve in Vietnam then" because we got out of it...but did try to do peace activities...are really freaked our and distressed now and are serving with those who walked before us.

We are ALL IN THIS SHIT TOGETHER, though...We can't forget that. And, we walk together against this. We march together against this...in whatever way we can... just like folks have done against "EMPIRE" all those thousands of years before us. We march and protest with the ghosts of all those who came before.

Sorry...for getting kind of "out of it there." But, I see it that way, even if it sounds kind of dorky.. :-(
