Different rules apply to Bush and his cronies who are considered above reproach and above the law. Their lies are always merely innocent oversights or misunderstandings with no bad intentions. John Bolton got away with wrong information too with no repercussions.

Let's hope this immunity changes with the Plame Grand Jury indictments.
