Video on Larry King now of an older woman being wrestled
to the ground to remove her from her home. Did anyone else see that?

4. There is a previous GD thread on this.
Sorry I don't know how to link it. Anyway, the woman had a weapon. A couple of people said she was somewhat delusional -- probably from lack of food and water. The police had to get her before she shot them or herself, which would not have done anybody any good.

I know that when you first see it, it's shocking and sickening, but knowing there was a weapon involved, it makes more sense.

5. Saw a clip on ITV News (UK) yesterday, don't know if it's the same
The cops came to remove an elderly, frail looking woman with a camera crew in tow. The woman refused to leave or allow the cops entry. Eventually she said she would allow the (female) reporter and camera to come in and interview her. However the cops followed them into her house and tried to talk the woman out. The camera was on the woman, who was obviously distressed, as she listed her reasons for refusing to leave, but as the camera panned down slightly you could see that out of nowhere she was holding a pistol and a knife in her hands. It took maybe three or four seconds before the cops spotted this but when they did they didn't hang about. They literally jumped on top of her and had her pinned, screaming, on the floor.
After disarming her the situation cooled fairly quickly but it was a horrifying spectacle, to see a 200lb cop pinning a 120lb granny to the floor.
To be fair to the police they were obviously distressed afterwards at what had happened. I don't suppose it matters who they are, if someone confronts you with a firearm...

The clip isn't on their website, but I'll have a look around. If I find it I'll post.

6. There was also a elderly blind woman who refused to go
without her assistance dog, and they tried to FORCE her to go, apparently.
