You know, Bush was just being Bush
Edited on Fri Sep-09-05 09:58 PM by CatWoman
His ineptness and cruelty endears him to those raving lunatics who support him.

Just like Reagan going to Mississippi to kick off his presidential campaign, Bush sent the same "code" to his base by treating the NO evacuees like he did.

Bush and his base are in the "zone". They are of one mind. They see all of his shortcomings and character flaws as something endearing. He is one of them. A complete evil, vicious, petty loser.

All of them.

They were determined to rape and pillage this country, killing off the poor as they went along.

However, somewhere along the horizon common decency came to the rescue. Our rescue. That was the real calvary.

We were right all along. There are more good people out there than knuckle dragging hateful asshole. We are the true majority.

2. Yup
Stupid, cowardly, disconnected, elitist, buck-passing, lying loser. All the things endear him to the Limbeciles come to the surface when he's in the spot light.

3. Yes, just being a Bush, just like
his parents. Both of 'em are uncaring snobs, so I guess you could say little w comes by it naturally. Mama w's comment got a lot of attention last week, and I think Poopy's comment on LKL should have gotten more attention (or maybe it did and I missed it in all the other breaking news) when, asked about the criticism of his son, he said "Those people on the roofs aren't complaining". Heartless little man! I wanted to tell him all the dead are not complaining, either, but I wish they could all send the boosh family a message.

7. I want them to be tried for their crimes. This last one
seals the deal. They have to be made accountable and reduced to pauperism to pay for what they have done.

9. in order for that to happen
the guardians at the gate he has installed in the judiciary will have to be removed.

but then, there's always hope. The Republicans did turn on Nixon.

10. I have hope. Republicans being the opportunists that they
are, and being the rats who have no problem abandoning a sinking ship, may be the ones who give us the ballast to do it.

15. "tried for their crimes"?
Edited on Sat Sep-10-05 07:35 AM by Mich Otter
Who would hold the trial?
The Republicans certainly won't. They have supported every evil thing Bush has done.
The Democrats won't. They are almost as culpable as the Republicans. The Democrats didn't fix the levees or set up workable evacuation plans when they had the chance. It would be a right vs. wrong argument in favor of the Democrats if they had repaired the levees and set up the evacuation plans. They didn't.
The only real chance we would have is to get Bush before an International Court. That won't happen either.
We won't even have the pleasure of seeing Bush voted out since he cannot run again.
But, we can have the pleasure of seeing the other Republicans voted out in 2006 and 2008. There are a lot of people who are thinking about their chances of winning if they run in an election. We need to find the most people-minded candidates and support them early and with all the effort we can muster.

12. he was being himself. truly inept
but I don't think he cares enough about *anything* other than himself to be intentionally cruel. He is a narcissistic sociopath. He is not driven to inflict pain and suffering; he is driven to immediate self gratification, regardless of the effect on others. As for anyone else's pain or suffering, he is just completely oblivious.
