5. My wife and I go twice a year.....
Of course we live only a couple of hours away. It is a beautiful island, on certain parts of course. My wife's family has a timeshare down there so we go for free which is good.

12. Well if it gets real bad,
come inland a couple hours, 30 miles up from Columbia, and you have shelter. Of course you have to watch out, I am from SC and of course, drink Budweiser, have lots of guns, and listen to nothing but country music. :sarcasm:

15. Have never heard of James...
But he looks like a cool guy. I have mostly import beer in my home, somewhat of a beer snob, I admit it. I do like Rolling Rock though.

7. I've been through cat 1 storms
They aren't really that bad and I wouldn't hesitate to go through one again. I was in one cat 2 storm and wouldn't want to do that again, it was significantly less fun.

Of course you never know what they're going to do so keep a close eye on it.

10. yeah that's a bummer, but walks on the beach
are really cool after a hurricane, all kinds of stuff washed up that you usually don't get to see

13. I went for a horseback riding on the beach after a nor'easter once
on the east end of LI. My friends horse started sinking in quicksand. It was pretty scary. The horse was ready to give up. I had to beat its ass while she pulled it out by the reins.

They were clients' horses so it was very scary.

9. You can be sure that if there's any damage to Hilton Head
Bushie Boy will drop in and talk about his plans to sit on reconstructed porches.

There's lots of wealthy and white people in Hilton Head.
