Brian Williams was going for the Cronkeit moment on DS
Daily Show.

I'm just watching it now. It's blowing my mind. The jig really is up.

"The disparity between what those officials were saying and what was actually happening"

"People like me who refuse to believe that my daughter has more value than someone of her equivalent in New Orleans."

The mutiny against W is spreading like gangrene.

2. As much as I like JS
He pissed me off, he cut of BW everytime he was about to throw a hakemaker... When BW was saying "Why is my daughter better than these people." And at the end of the show he was getting heavy again and JS cut him off.

Both times for commercial breaks..so not realy JS fault, but I think we missed something great.

3. On this channel, he can never get deep.
With 30 minutes, which means 18-22 minutes of content, he can never get deep.

I would die if they took his intellect and delivery, and got him on a real channel without pressure from above about the message.

4. Yeah
but still it was powerful. When a news guy goes to that level of personal seriousness... this whole event is like a mutiny happened with the people reporters on the ground.

5. agreed
I was really against Brian Williams, particularly since election night 2000, when I watched him say "...we Republicans" and learned that he's a friend of Rush Limbaugh's.

But on TDS he was authentic, alive, glowing, articulate. He was RADICALIZED by his experience in N.O. I hope he can hold it.
