Guess what, RUSH,...America was STARVING for AAR!!!!
You and your right-wing hate machine are DYING in numbers while AAR is RISING!!!!

God may be sending you false (profiteering and dark-hearted) prophets a message: GO TO HELL!!!

Incredible to me that you thought you had the market on humanity because you ASSUMED we are basically "bad" and "evil" and "weak" like you. You rejected every instance of human goodness and courage and strength because you reject those possibilities and choices about yourself.

Will you reject the possibility of choice, the possibility that we are not born "good" or "bad" but with the power to choose to contribute towards humanity rather than be destructive,...before you die?

How much evidence will it take before you accept that, humanity thirsts for hope a helluva lot more than it is drawn towards hate?

2. If God is involved in radio ratings, why doesn't
He or She give Al Franken's show more listeners than Rush Limbaugh's?

3. Because AAR is on lower power stations that don't cover as much area...
.. but give them time... give them time..

24. Low-powered indeed
I've been on a business and dog-related road trip for the last ten days. I've found AAR almost everywhere I've driven, but except for the Cincinnatti station - - which I've heard at night from Oklahoma to the East Coast - - the stations come in and then dissolve into static way too fast. :(

Last year when I made this same trip there were hardly any AAR outlets to be heard.

As I scan the AM dial, though, I sure do hear a lot of that execrable Savage Nation.

12. AAR's popularity is spreading wildly beyond that human boil's,...
,...expectations!!! WE EMBRACE TOLERANCE AND COMPASSION AND PEACE AND HOPE!!!

That bastard went from "entertaining" to intolerant hate-monger,...and, people DO NOT WANT THAT DISEASE!!!

Go away, Rush and the right-wing human cancer. WE, HUMANITY, ARE BETTER THAN YOU!!!!

17. AAR won't take decades to reach it's highest popularity
It really is spreading like wildfire.

In May 2004, I drove across country. There were huge stretches where I couldn't even get NPR on the radio. Now, we could probably drive across and almost always hit an AAR station without satellite radio.

8. Thom Hartmann on AAR? Where? Not on the NY line-up.
Edited on Sat Sep-10-05 12:30 AM by countmyvote4real
He should be, but glad that local affiliates are picking him up. My question is what AAR show are they replacing him with?

10. Thom Hartmann's show will be a separate offering.
Stations can get multiple AAR shows, including Al Franken's from noon-3 Eastern.

Or just get Thom Hartmann from noon-3 Eastern.

7. I tuned in to the Limbaugh Dog n Pony Show the other day .....

just for laughs. I noticed for the first half hour (that's all I could stand) his only sponsor was himself. Selling books and T-shirts and crap like that. He must be pretty bad off if he has to pay out of his own pocket to keep himself on the air. All the big advertisers don't seem to want to have anything to do with the lying windbag pimple-butt.

14. He needs more drugs. I wonder if he'll be criminally charged.
Would he be willing to change his tune if he is forced into serving a bit of time in a 6 X 6 and watch his career funded by right-wing hate-mongering?

Who knows? He's obviously co-dependent. It's his choice.

15. I'm sorry. I am too damn tired to search for the report I read,...
,...concerning the falling numbers of the right-wing hate-machine.

I should be in bed, right now.

But, I swear I read reports that the whole right-wing propaganda media is experiencing falling numbers.

23. I'm so glad to see Limbaugh challenges on DU.
For a while, any mention of PigBoy here was met with - icky, icky, icky, why do you listen to that?

He, or one of his lackeys monitors DU and he mentions DU all the time now.

Limbaugh has been enormously destructive to democracy in the U.S.A. He should be continually called out instead of being ignored.

And like I posted above, I'm glad to see this windbag's relevancy is on the decline. I already have an asshole, I don't need another one.

27. *lol*
I read recently that his numbers had dropped by 45% and that Hannity's had dropped by 60%.

They will be remembered, if at all, the way the hatefilled Rwanda radio is remembered, imo. Had that been shut down, countless lives would have been saved. Without rightwing hate radio having a monopoly for so long here, countless lives would also have saved in Iraq, in Afghanistan, in the US.

The country was starved for the truth ~ and AAR has become like an oasis in the desert. It is soaring, and has had defied all the rightwing predictions of lasting only 'months'. They must get tired of being wrong.

Why though, did it take so long? I used to listen to AM and could find only one hour a day of anything countering the blatant lies coming from hate radio until I just tuned out. That went on for years. Someone dropped the ball, and the results were devastating to free speech and equal representation. I hope it is a lesson we won't forget.
