Tell me how the right wing attack websites get front page google.
Some of us keep track of the talking points put out on Howard Dean when he has really had an outspoken few days. It is amazing, truly.
By late tonight, I did a search on his name (my night to check). I chose to sort by date.

There is almost nothing complimentary, just the usual websites going after him. There is no one from our side visible, as the news cycle must have just changed.

Seriously how do they do it...how do they get front page of google like this when he has spoken out. They must have a system. Why don't we? Why can't we get our more liberal sites out there?

World Net Daily
Washington Times
The Weekly Standard
P. J. Rourke
David Brooks
Red State.org
The Conservative Voice

If they can use a method to get these sites to stay at top of the search on google...why can't we?

3. 60+% is the minority, I don't think so.
I personally think that Google has gone bad.

4. I don't think Google injects politics into search results.
It's bad for business.

What is good for business is having one side pay a bundle to be listed higher.

I have no doubt if somebody put the money forth, all searches for Republican, Bush, etc. could return listings for prisons.

5. They don't mind censoring China
why would the USA be any different?

8. Good point
But I believe that's still business.

They either do what the local internet carrier (Chinese Gov't) says, or they're blocked completely.

So some ad revenue vs. no revenue.

9. It's sorted by date
All those articles were posted in the last couple hours.

10. But why are there no articles being complimentary? Sorted by date.
That is what I am trying to figure. Even the numerous Democratic blogs don't seem to be in evidence.

There are the news articles just stating what he said, and there are the right wing blogs and website.

If I do a search on a specific diary at Kos or a specific user name, I find it. But it is not there on a sorted by date search.

Town Hall, Chron Watch, and others are there within minutes when a Democrat is critical of Bush. Why isn't our side showing up there?

11. The more you pay them, the higher up on the list you'll be.
My stepmother lists her real estate site on google and she had to pay a lot more to get listed on the first page.
