Has Bush's incompetence been "misunderestimated"?
Just as he annointed 'Brownie' with his view of competence, has he been delude by his self annointment of competence?

If you were to poll every citizen about the first word that popped into their heads in relation to GWB, what percentage would would nominate 'competence'?

1. Neocons are following a well thought out plan. Calling Bush incompetent
Edited on Sat Sep-10-05 01:58 AM by applegrove
belies their intent.

Bolton was not put at the UN to make it look good. He is there as a purposefully hostile player..to destroy.

This is a pattern the Bush WH follows.

It is not incompetent. That again, underestimates what is actually going on.

Makes Bush look benign. Implies all he has to do is "do better". When in fact the neocons & Rovbots are following a specific and repeated agenda.

6. Happy??
I do hope that all those conservatives are happy with the hell they have/are causing. They have their warmongering, they have their crusade in the Middle East. they have totally ruined this country which now has scares that will take decades to heal (if ever), 90% of the planet hates us, all thanks to "Conservative Corperate America" that is supported by right-wing Nazis.

!!!IMPEACH NOW!!!

10. He's only 'incompetent' if we assume the results were unintended.
Edited on Sat Sep-10-05 10:16 AM by TahitiNut
We'd also have to assume that his core objectives weren't achieved. I'm not willing to make those two assumptions.

(1) Is he and his family economically better off today than in December 2000? Yes, indeed. There's not much question about it.

(2) Are his largest financial backers better off financially? Yes, indeed. There's not much question about it.

(3) Are the political ideologies more extensively entrenched in our system of governance and economics? Yes, indeed. There's not much question about it. Indeed, there's probably no greater return on investment than GOP lobbying today. The billions in profits and tax-cuts dwarf the cost of obtaining them.

How does that mean 'incompetent'??

12. He's not incompetent. These are planned results. They knew this
hurricane would come at some time and they knew to have FEMA block relief.
