Bush's approval drops below 40 percent
WASHINGTON - President Bush's job approval has dipped below 40 percent for the first time in the AP-Ipsos poll, reflecting widespread doubts about his handling of gasoline prices and the response to Hurricane Katrina.

Nearly four years after Bush's job approval soared into the 80s after the terrorist attacks on Sept. 11, 2001, Bush was at 39 percent job approval in an AP-Ipsos poll taken this week. That's the lowest since the the poll was started in December 2003.

13. I agree Melody!
There will always be the good little Republicans who would eat his shit politely with a knife and fork no matter how bad it stunk up their house.

9. Gallup, Pew, American Research
and now this poll have Bush at 40 or below. It's undeniable, this president is tanking.

So can someone, anyone in the FUCKING MEDIA PLEASE start using the phrase "deeply unpopular President"?! It's only the goddamned truth.

10. Oh, no!
Clinton was never mentioned as "popular" with approval ratings around 60% - even at the height of Lewinsky.

Bush has DISapproval ratings of 40% and that liberal media acts like the entire country is at his feet.
