Kanye West: Person of the Week
Edited on Sat Sep-10-05 03:37 AM by Melodybe
As far as people on tv go, Kanye was my favorite face to see this week.

Who is your hero for the moment?

3. "All Falls Down" has been running through my head all night
Edited on Sat Sep-10-05 03:48 AM by VolcanoJen
It's been quite a week for Kanye. He's awakened something, that's for damned sure.

I loved the dialed-down version of "Jesus Walks" during the fundraiser concert last night, despite the early technical difficulties.

Oh when it all, it all falls down
I'm tellin' you all, it all falls down...

ETA:Oh... and it doesn't hurt your week to have the #1 album in the country, either. That's got to drive his detractors absolutely crazy. :-)

5. I'm stuck on Diamonds from Seirra Leon

that song is fucking brilliant.

Kanye's performance of "Jesus Walks" tonight showed the fundie Christians that those who hate Bush also have Jesus in their lives. It scares them but it will make them think. And when people think, we win.

Kanye is a gift, I love him.

7. Kanye, last week. This week,
Dr. Ben Marble, the guy who yelled "F**k you!" at Cheney.

8. Yeah, that dude does rule.
And he's a doctor! I laughed my ass off when I heard that.
