1. I don't think it is... |
|
It sounds too childish, too schoolyard-bullyish. I think they sound like fools everytime they say it. And that WH press briefing with the reporter, forcing Scotty to whine "Blame Game" again and again, robotically, like some thicknecked schoolyard bully thug, just made them look even more stupid.

2. It works with the mouth-breaking, knuckle-dragging cult followers of Bush |

who don't have the sense to think for themselves. When something like this happens, they run to their radio for Rush or to the tv for FOX news to hear what they should think and start parroting it. They need a way to deny the reality they see with their own eyes, and they find it in these dishonest, heartless idiots who spew out GOP talking points. These people would literally need deprogramming, the way they deprogram teenage girls who up and join cults.

3. But they'll never come around to thinking sensibly anyway... |

You can't change the spots of leopards that dumb. It only works on those who are already too far gone.

4. I don't think so, at least not yet. They look like whiners, which is |

really bad for old-fashioned, "stand up" conservatives like my dad. You know, the kind who are used to leaders who say "the buck stops here"? My dad's father was in WWII and was a staff sergeant who had a 3-year tour, mostly around Anzio (sp?). My granddad was offered the chance to go into intelligence, but refused because "someone's got to take care of these boys."
My dad respects people like that, leaders who take responsibility and will admit mistakes. I haven't talked to him about this latest fiasco, but I did ask him to start watching CSPAN every now and then.
So I think at least some conservatives will or are waking up to the fact that their leader is a whiny, incompetent weasel.
