2. Republicans are so good at talking up responsibility. Bush |
|
needs to say, "I take full responsibility for the mis-handling of recovery efforts during Katrina".
He will never, never, never say it though. So hopefully his poll numbers sink to the 20's.

3. My only hope is that at least some of the American people |
|
finally what a smirking, cold, uncaring, apathetic asshole he is.
He's not a leader. He's just an idiot who was propelled into a position of power, and whenever he is offered the chance to rise to greatness he just comes back with "It's not my problem".
When will they finally realize that their "leader" doesn't care about them?

5. An older gentlemen who is my neighbor is very right wing |
|
I have been in e-mail wars with him all week about who is responsible.
He hasn't answered me since Thursday, when my last e-mail to him ended with Harry Truman's motto "The buck stops here".
I told him (my neighbor) that Bush doesn't accept responsibility for any of the disasters he has created.

7. Like I've said, even if it wasn't Bush's responsibility at all |
|
why did he still not do anything?
What kind of leader stays on vacation for four days after a natural disaster?
What kind of leader just sits back and watches the death and mayhem, content with the knowledge that it's not his problem?
Its bullshit.

4. I think they've slipped TOO low for him to start another war. |
|
The existing war is overwhelmingly unpopular and most people have begun to question his ability to handle....well, anything. Even a terrorist attack blamed on Iran wouldn't do it right now (IMO).

Canada has oil, it's close, practically no military, lots of room for future hurricane evacuees, and it's too damn neat and polite.
I'll be a cakewalk! :sarcasm:
